The second Documentary style highlight video I've done. Again, an extended highlight video with more soundbites (vows, speeches, interviews) and more time for the best shots of your wedding day.

Outside weddings are really nice to shoot, lots of light, lots of space, so I always like the way they come out. The photoshoot for this wedding was also at a great location!

Trevor | Nicole - Documentary Package

This was the first of a new concept for VM Weddings: The Documentary Package. This basically means an extended highlight video of 15-20mins in length that really allows me to be creative in my editing, include more of the best shots and more interviews/sounds clips from during the day. The result is a very watchable wedding video, beautifully and artistically put together that really captures the whole spirit of your day.

This one was all just a one person shoot (with a couple of cameras set up) so I was very busy on the day, but you would never know it was just a one person shoot from the end result!

Charlotte | Jayson

This was one hot day! But everyone still had patience for the photo/video shoot and were good sports about posing for shots.

Cindy | Fidelis

Cindy and Fidelis were great to work with. They both seemed very relaxed and the whole day was filled with some good laughs, some crazy dancing, a good look at a traditional Nigerian style ceremony. Beautiful day.

Rather than just posting the highlight video, thought I would include the groom prep too as I had some fun with the effects. It was also a good, upbeat song to edit to which made for a bit of a different style. I loved the bright green waistcoat and ties on these guys, so I had a great idea of how to really stylize the video of them getting ready.

Harmon | Kiran - Same day reception edit

Well, not quite the same day! This fantastic Edmonton wedding was spread over most of the week, so I edited the key moments from Thursday, Friday and Saturday into a short video to show at their reception on the Sunday evening. Quite the task as I had some 15 hours of footage to go through! But I just got it done on time.

The wedding was beautiful, so much going on on all the days, so busy and so happening, it was easy to get great shots and entertaining to be there. Plus the food was great of course! May there be many more Indian weddings to come, they are a lot of fun and really make for great video.

How about a trip to Phoenix? Don't mind if I do!

My first destination wedding came at the perfect time, with winter just closing in on Edmonton. Warm and sunny Phoenix beckoned for the wedding of Crosby and Lisa from Calgary.

We did Genevieve's sister's wedding video too (Dominique), when she married Brad's best friend Chris. It was great to be able to do another video for this wonderful collection of family and friends a couple of years on.
