Jenilee | Kelly

This was a single person shoot, which always makes the ceremony a bit tricky. But with 4 cameras on the go it turned out great!

This is an extended highlight video as it has the bride prep and photoshoot rolled into it as well.

It was a really awesome day, it's always nice when the couple are is fun and easy-going as Jenilee and Kelly. It makes for some great natural shots for the video.

Steve | Grace in Sylvan Lake

Not quite a destination wedding, but close! The touristy town of Sylvan Lake provided the backdrop to the beautiful wedding of Steve and Grace. Ice cream, speed boat arrivals, custom pop bottles, moving speeches, a great party, fireworks...what more could you ask for in a wedding?!

Sarah | Dino

Next up this summer is Sarah and Dino. A great traditional Italian style groom prep with more people in a house than you could possibly imagine! Meanwhile Sarah's bubbling happiness and joy made for a lovely bride prep video.

Also a highlight video (and photoshoot) edited to Michael Jackson. I think that's a first for a wedding video for me! But it's always good fun to edit a video to less traditional wedding songs.

Brian | Davina

This is the highlight video from the beautiful wedding of Brian and Davina in Edmonton. There was lots going on at this wedding, and it was a really fun day to be part of. The photoshoot was great too, click here to check out some of the photos done by Katch Studios.

Voldy | Nicole

Welcome to Candle Lake, Saskatchewan...a bit of a drive from Edmonton but the beautiful wedding of Voldy and Nicole was well worth it! It was an emotional gathering of friends and family that made for a great wedding to try out my latest camera, the Canon 7D. Welcome to the future of shooting video with a DSLR. I just love the look of this camera. Take a look for yourself!

This Blog

This blog was started end of July 2010, to talk about and showcase what I feel is a turning point in quality for VM Weddings (who were previously known as Vigor Media). The Canon 7D we now shoot with in addition to our two Canon XH-A1s has brought a whole new level of quality to our work. As such, the samples on here are only the most recent of our weddings, from mid-2010 onwards. Plus, everyone and his dog seems to be blogging nowadays, so I thought I should jump on the band waggon!
