What a cute couple! Overcast skies made for great lighting at the outdoor ceremony at the Oasis Conference Centre. Afterwards, the beautiful grounds also made for a beautiful photoshoot (nice job Sharon Litchfield Photography! You can check out her photos here). The wind may have been a bit chilly later at the River Cree reception where we did some more photos, but it made for some great blowing dress/veil/hair shots! (must remember gloves for september weddings apparently though!) The personalised vows really made for an emotional wedding and I hope this video captures that spirit (along with the obvious love these two have for each other). Loved the acoustic/piano cover of Katy Perry too!

Jessie | Jessica - Same Day Edit

This Calgary wedding was beautiful. It's rare to see a couple so relaxed and happy during the chaos of a 5 day Indian wedding! I'm not sure I was quite as relaxed as Jessie and Jessica while I was putting together this same day edit on Sunday morning to show at the reception sunday night. But I got it done in time in the end and I was pleased with how the video came together to really capture the spirit of the wedding. Enjoy.

Justin | Jacquie - Independent Highlight Video

Covering a wedding on your own (Independent Package) can be a little stressful, but working with these guys made it seemed like a dream. A really nice, easy-going couple...even when things get a little off-schedule at the right before the ceremony! (Watch the video or ask Justin...haha). It also helped that they lived in the same neighbourhood so I could get pop between their houses to get shots of both of them getting ready.

Manisha | Raman - Same Day Edit

See? Only a week went by this time, managing to stay a it more on top of my blogging.

This is a same day edit (kind of!) from a wedding back in May. It features highlights of events on Wed, Thurs, Fri and the ceremony on Saturday and was edited Sunday morning to show at the reception that night.

There was a lot going at this wedding! It was half in Edmonton, half in Calgary. This made getting the footage ready in time for the reception even more tight on time. I wanted to do a really great job and probably spent a bit more time on this edit than I should have...but I think it was worth it to do this beautiful wedding justice!

With so much potential to be this a chaotic affair, Raman and Manisha were a delight to work with and remained relaxed through-out. Which really helped for a great video.

Welcome back & Shauna | Sanjay

Well...I'm obviously not too good at this blogging lark. That's nearly 10 months since my last post!

It has been out of wedding season for the most part...but still. I have filmed at least 4 weddings in that period and haven't managed to post about one of them! I'll try and stay on top of this a bit more as this busy summer moves along.

Here is our first wedding from 2012 from back in April. We actually did Sanjay's brother's wedding last year too...although I could well have not got round to blogging about that either! This is a documentary package highlight video (i.e. longer format) Enjoy:

Manu | Anish - Documentary

An entire highlight video set to instrumental versions of songs by A Tribe Called Quest. Awesome!! This was definitely a new challenge, but I think it proves that wedding videos don't have to be done to lovey-dovey music. Haha.

Michelle | Matt - Documentary

The second Documentary style highlight video I've done. Again, an extended highlight video with more soundbites (vows, speeches, interviews) and more time for the best shots of your wedding day.

Outside weddings are really nice to shoot, lots of light, lots of space, so I always like the way they come out. The photoshoot for this wedding was also at a great location!
